I work as a scenographer and mainly implement projects in the cultural field. For me, a scenographer is like an activist, who plays with the already existing contents and conditions surrounding her, questions them by using different perspectives, and finally creates something relevant with them. An activist who exposes and breaks down internalized patterns of perception through her work and offers new perspectives.
I find it essential to search for an individual language in each and every project and translate it visually no matter if in two- or three-dimensional works. I love to build images that tell a story and involve the recipient, so a dialogue can arise.
I am against repetitive patterns and rigid structures. I do love to work with systems and fluent structures, because they provide a boundary to play with. I believe in a system within which there is room for intuition and the individual self through curiosity and independent thinking. I believe in clear messages and readable models.
My name is Fabienne Fischer and I am open for any kind of collaboration and always willing to learn new techniques.
